Larry,
I would like to compliment your staff on a job well done for my daughters wedding/reception on 9/10/11. The staff did an excellent job! Tim and I were very pleased with the service that Central Coast provided. Everything seemed to go smoothly and they were all friendly and available for any assistance we needed. I am very thankful that the staff even assisted us with carrying the gifts out to our vehicles at the end of the night when we were all so very exhausted.
Aeryn is a very good event coordinator and was always quick to reply to all of my e-mails while planning this event. Every meeting with her went very good as well.My sister whom came from California was entirely impressed too. Thank-you for a wonderful wedding day for my daughter Jennifer Bonk…now Jennifer Scherer.

”Delicious food, good service in a beautiful setting”

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at the Central Coast Restaurant while on a day trip to Fort Atkinson. Upon arriving, my companion and I were greeted by the friendly hostess and given a brief tour of the attractive bar, club, and restaurant. We were struck by the classiness of the decor and the abundant art work. This was obviously the result of the owner’s passion for food, wine, and entertainment. After being seated, our helpful waitress began service that proved to be friendly and efficient without becoming obtrusive. We both ordered the grilled four cheese sandwich that was delicious with its side of dipping sauce as well as fresh tasting salads. Perhaps the most remarkable part of lunch was the desert – we chose the flourless chocolate cake to split. Upon arriving at the table, it looked like a nicely presented large brownie. One taste, however, proved that this was a culinary triumph. The cake literally melted in our mouths blending a rich dark chocolate flavor with a light texture and the added tastes of the accompanying strawberries and whipped cream. The entire experience at Central Coast was very pleasant and I will make a return visit in the future to sample one of the interesting entrees on the dinner menu.

Dear Aeryn,
Thank you for all of the work that went into making our reception on Sunday such a success. The food lived up to expectations, and I just wish I had eaten fewer of the appetizers in an effort to have more room for the variety of desserts. There was just no way to do justice to everything, although the main courses disappeared rather rapidly.
You came into the organization of our reception well into the process, but your direction made sure that everything took place on time. The session of trying desserts and creamers remains high on Betsy’s list of favorite days. We are looking forward to our next visit to Central Coast, especially with the additional inducement of the desserts. Thank you again for having made Betsy feel like a princess at her reception as much as she had at her wedding.
With best wishes,
Thomas Drucker – Whitewater, WI

While on a business trip to WI, my boss and some of my co-workers and I had a girls’ night out at Central Coast. Central Coast was very un-NYC…in a good way! I loved the large space with areas for ballroom dancing, the bar and for fine dining. The food was exceptional and I highly recommend Central Coast to anyone in area. I’m not sure if/when I’ll be back, given that I’ll be starting at a new company soon that doesn’t have offices in Fort Atkinson, WI, but Central Coast blew me away and made me miss the suburbs. What a fun night! I’m so glad I have pictures to remember it by.

“Amazing food find in Fort”
5/31/11
I am so excited to have discovered Central Coast Restaurant in Fort Atkinson, WI. The food was comparable, if not better, than my favorite Chicago & Madison restaurants. I visited Central Coast with a group of friends and we ordered 2 appetizers for the table – Siberian Nachos (with salmon & wasabi cream sauce) and Shrimp & Grits (most amazing bacon grits I’ve ever tasted!). I ordered the warm goat cheese salad and the NY strip steak. The steak was cooked to perfection. It’s hard to find a steak that is not only very high quality meat, but that is also cooked just right anywhere outside of the big city, but Central Coast has nailed it! I also tried other entrees at the table (Seared Salmon, Stuffed Chicken Breast, and the Tuna Burger) all of which were very good. Everyone in our group was very happy with the food and service. I highly recommend a trip to Central Coast to anyone who truly appreciates fine food.

“Hidden gem in rural Wisconsin”

Wow! We are so lucky to have a place like this in our area. We have been there several times and never disappointed. This time was Easter brunch. Kevin was our server and extremely pleasant and attentive. We had 4 kids ages 4 and under and 8 adults so it was a challenging group to say the least. The food was beautiful and delicious. The price was similar to area buffets but I think the food was of a much higher class than others I have been too! We are going back in a few weeks for a Comedy event. There is always something fun going on at Central Coast!

“So thrilled to have this beautiful fine dining restaurant”
4/18/11
My husband and I are so thankful to have a fine dining establishment near our home. We were so tired of traveling a minimum of 1/2 hr, one way. It is such a beautiful restaurant with wonderful wait staff and fantastic food! We have been there for holiday buffets (Easter, Thanksgiving, and New Years), dance classes, private parties, weddings, Friday Night Fish Fry, and of course, Saturday night date night for the scrumptious sirloin, with Creme Brulee for dessert! We are a trendy mid-thirties couple, who like to class it up once in awhile, and this is the perfect restaurant to do so.

“Fine dining close to home”
4/11
We have been dining at Central Coast since its opening and have noted that it keeps getting better. The facility is gorgeous- tasteful decor, reasonably quiet, and very comfortable. Attentive wait staff clearly benefit from expert training. A creative cuisine is based on famous recipes from Las Vegas area restaurants. The chef ‘s specials (of which there are usually one or two per evening) are always creative and tasty.

“Unique atmosphere and cheerful professional staff!”
4/7/11
My husband and I attended a murder mystery dinner here for our 10th wedding anniversary. We called ahead and made our reservations and explained we were celebrating. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile and professional attitude! We were seated at a lovely table that had been decorated with red roses, and a bottle of NA wine knowing that we didnt drink. Shortly after we were seated the show started by one of the main characters introducing themselves and congratulating us. The show was fun, the staff was attentive, and the food was delicious! I highly recommend Central Coast Restaurant and look forward to more dining experiances that offer dancing and more shows!! They even offer discounts as a frequent customer! We will be attending during the Mothers day brunch as a family and look forward to another exciting meal.

“Best restaurant in the area by far”
7/31/10
Four of us went to dinner for the first time here and loved everything we ordered. Rack of lamb was excellent, crab stuffed salmon, halibut, pasta/meatball special all terrific. We shared several apetizers, crab cakes, lobster mac friters and artichoke dip, and we couldn’t decide which one was the best, but they were all delicious. Salads and desserts all were wonderful My only complaint was that the coffee was luke warm. This is excellent food, not an inexpensive dinner, but well worth the cost.

“Best restaurant in Fort Atkinson”
9/20/08
Crab cake appetizer was excellent, wild mushroom risotto with shrimp was delicious, bacon wrapped pork tenderloin with cherry sauce was perfect, wine was great and the trio of custards was perfect! The only thing we didn’t care for was the vanilla cheesecake but other than that the restaurant itself was beautiful the prices were reasonable and the service was nice. We had no complaints and this was BY FAR the best restaurant in town!

This was the best dining experience that I have ever had. The food was presented with impeccable flair, and the flavors danced on my tounge. Our server was not only an exceptional profesional, but made us feel as though we were the only ones there. It was our anniversary, and the manager came to our table with a complimentary dessert and followed that with a suprise opera piece that was sung by one of the other waiters. WOW!!! I could not have been more pleased.
Don’t miss the chance to dine here.

I have been to “The Coast” several times and always found the food extraordinary, the atmosphere relaxing, and the service excellent. I am hard of hearing, so I especially appreciated the fine acoustics. Even with several people at a nearby table, I was able to hear everything my partner said. I am thrilled that they are having the noon lunches back for the Fridays in December. What a great place to celebrate the holidays with fellow workers or club members! It’s the best place around for celebrations of all kinds.

Delicious. Friendly. Reasonable. My husband and I are local and we love Central Coast. By no means are we wealthy, but we love to eat good food. Considering most of southern WI restaurants feature a $10.95 all-you-can-eat fish fry, it’s nice to find a place one can go to for something more palatable. The food is delectable, every bite has flavor. The staff was friendly and we felt comfortable “hanging out”. (We both ordered only one mojito a piece.)
My advice: do a little research before you go to a new place. Look online at their menu and see what is reasonable to you. No one at Central Coast is going to look down on you for ordering the least expensive thing on the menu. One of our meals was about $60 with tip and that included a dessert we shared. Do you think they stood in the corner and stared us down? No, on the contrary, the owner stopped by our table and shot the breeze with us. He just wanted to get to know some of his customers and see if we liked our meal.
Sure we don’t go every week. But think about it, stop getting junky takeout once or twice a week and you’ll see how quick you save up $100. Then treat yourself to something you’ll really enjoy!(Yahoo Local Review)
Great food, great atmosphere, great service, thanks for being here!
